Merici-Chevalier Cup 2025

Get ready for a memorable evening on Friday, 25 July, as Downlands and St Ursula's College come together in a spirited battle for netball glory.


This year marks 15 years of this incredible tradition—a celebration of determination and teamwork. It’s an opportunity to witness passion and talent in action, and to cheer on these amazing athletes as they give their all on the court.


The festivities begin at 4:00 PM, leading up to the much-anticipated First VII game at 6:15 PM—a true showcase of skill and dedication. Join us for an afternoon that celebrates community, excellence, and the joy of shared experiences.

Event Details

  • Game Day Draw

    See the game draw here.

  • Food & Drink

    Canteen facilities will be available. Boarding and Coaches meal vouchers will be provided to the Director of Sport/Director of Netball. Various food and beverage vendors will be located outside the Sacre Coeur (on the Kate Street end), including:


    Taste & Design Co 

    Abundant Food 

    Runnin on Hot Spuds & Coffee 

  • Parking

    Parking will be located via the Main Entrance of the College. Reserved Parking for key staff will be located under the Sacre Coeur Sports Centre off Kate Street. 

  • Buses

    Buses are to enter via the gate on Mesiness Street and park in the bus parking area next to the Top Oval North. 

  • SEATING

    For the first and second rounds of fixtures, each court will have one stand allocated to each school for both students and families. For the main game, Downlands will be located on court 2 (Nothern End) and St Ursula's will be located on the Southern End. Spectators will not be permitted at either end of the courts. 

  • Bathroom Facilities

    Male and Female facilities are located inside the Sacxre Coeur  Centre off the hallway. 

  • Court Access

    Downlands College  prohibits spectators from entering the court playing area before, during or immediately after a game. Only players, coaches and officials  are to access courts. 


  • Media/Photography

    Representatives of the media must sign in at the Information Centre upon arrival and wear identifiable credentials and be granted permission to photograph. 

  • School Policy

    • NO ALCOHOL is to be consumed at this event.
    • NO SMOKING: Downlands College is a non-smoking campus.
    • NO PETS are to be brought to this event.
