Past Students

With over 13,000 Downlands Past Students - have you noticed Downlanders are everywhere?

The tree lined driveway on a foggy Toowoomba morning will always stir the memory of a Downlander. Downlands Past Students now number over 13,000 and we can be found in all corners of the globe. While reunions and networking between Downlanders happens quite naturally, here at the College we are working on more ways we can help you stay in touch.

DPSA Bursary

Pay It Forward

The Principal and the DPSA invite all Downlanders to support the DPSA Bursary Fund. In true MSC spirit, join them in their campaign to change the lives of young people.

Why choose to give?

Past Students and their families are amongst the first to acknowledge how their own experiences and learning at Downlands have shaped their future. The generosity of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in the past means that many families received financial support to attend Downlands College.

That same spirit of generosity now continues at the College through the DPSA Bursary Fund which aims to provide children with the opportunity of a Downlands education.

Downlands is the school of choice, offering the broadest curriculum on the Darling Downs, with sporting and cultural opportunities, as well as apprenticeships and VET training - all firmly grounded in a strong, heart-centred ethos.

Who can apply?

The DPSA Bursary is open to children entering Year 11, who would benefit from a Downlands College education but for whom full tuition is out of reach. At this stage the bursary will be awarded on an annual basis to a Senior school student completing Years 11 and 12.

If you are interested in applying for this bursary please contact Downlands College Enrolments Officer, Ms Merilyn Rohde via email, enrolments@downlands.qld.edu.au, or phone 07 46 909 500.

Every single gift makes a difference so please act now by making your tax deductible donation to the Past Students Bursary.
