Bursaries

Bursaries have been established to offer the gift of a Downlands education to those for whom full tuition is out of reach.

All Bursaries are required to fill out the following Bursary/Scholarship Application Form and abide by the policy document:

Noel Mahoney Bursary

The purpose of the Noel Mahoney Bursary is to support students from an agricultural background or from remote areas whose families are suffering hardship.

The student will be expected to be able to bring “something special” to our community in terms of a contribution to College life.

The bursary:

  • will be offered to a student entering Year 10
  • will be renewable, upon satisfactory performance, each year until the student finishes Year 12
  • is not intended to cover all costs incurred in achieving a Downlands education
  • will be means tested
  • will be awarded at the discretion of the Principal

More details will be available soon, but initial enquiries can be made through our Enrolment Coordinator, Ms Merilyn Rohde.

DPSA Bursary

The Past Students Bursary will be open to children entering Years 7 to 11, who would benefit from a Downlands College education but for whom full tuition is out of reach.

More details will be available soon, but initial enquiries can be made through our Enrolment Coordinator, Ms Merilyn Rohde.

The Principal and the DPSA invite all Downlanders to support the DPSA Bursary Fund. In true MSC spirit, join them in their campaign to change the lives of young people.
