"Our four children have and are currently attending Downlands College. We have found the Downland’s community to be friendly and ready to help when called upon.
Our children have all enjoyed their time at the College and have been encouraged to excel in all areas of their education and sport. This encouragement has been balanced and very positive.
We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Downlands College to any prospective parent."

"With Jess completing year 12 in 2010 it brings our direct association with Downlands to an end and we are left with positive memories of which Father John and all the Downlands staff should be very proud.
With our children taking differing educational paths through Downlands you have delivered on the promises as stated in your motto “Fortes In Fide” and for that we are truly grateful.
You have partnered Debbie and I in preparing Jared and Jess with the ability to utilize their strengths and interests. It is now over to them to make the most of those opportunities and we are confident that they will.
The Downlands culture is also evident in the wonderful friends they have made and to that end Downlands students display a genuine care and concern for their peers. These friends have stayed in our home and they are all welcome back at anytime.
The Downlands staff should be truly proud of the standard of secondary education you provide and the quality of the young people graduating - congratulations and well done.
As parents you delivered to us more than we expected when we enrolled our children to attend Downlands - thank you."

"Downlands is a great school! Over the last five years, our son has grown from a shy grade eighter into a confident, well-adjusted young man ready to make his mark in the world. Downlands provided the learning environment for him to excel academically and, just as importantly, it provided the nurturing, confidence-building surrounds for him to develop his musical interests. He was also able to participate in a number of sporting activities and was encouraged and assisted to do his best. When we were looking at potential schools for him to attend, we were told that they ‘would take care of him’. And that is exactly what occurred, academically, musically and sporting wise, and also as a maturing teenager. We would highly commend Downlands to anyone wanting a well-rounded schooling environment for their child to become the best person they can be, and after all, that is what we all want for our children."
